PDCS of South Pars Gas Field Development Phases 22, 23 & 24

SP2224

This project covers the minimum requirements to be followed for the design, manufacture and performance of the electrical Power Distribution Control System (PDCS) for the South Pars Gas Field Development phases 22, 23 & 24, ONSHORE FACILITIES PROJECT at ASSALUYEH, IRAN.

12 substations are concerned to be controlled and supervised by the PDCS. HV Switch Yard substation, at the upstream, has two 132kV incoming lines and four 132/33kV transformers from where two 33 kV feeders go to the plant main substation (SS#1). The main substation (SS#1) has two 33kV incoming lines coming from HV Switch Yard substation. Substation no.1 contains 33KV, 6KV and 400V switchgears, emergency diesel generators & etc. Other substations (SS#2 … SS#11) include 6KV & 400V switchgears.

Substation # 7 (Sea Water Intake substation) is outside the plant and has its own local PDCS which will be serially connected to the PDCS. Supervisory and control functions of the PDCS on SS#7 is the same as that described hereafter for the other substations
